Ammon Simon is Chief Counsel to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs under Chairman Tim Scott.  He was previously Counsel to SEC Commissioner Peirce, covering crypto, corporate finance, and accounting. Before that he was Counsel for Capital Markets on the Senate Banking Committee under Ranking Member Toomey and Banking Counsel for Senator Ben Sasse. He has a J.D. from Columbia Law School and graduated from Wheaton College (IL) with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics.
